Here’s my setup :
- all my files are on a network share.
- I’m using Offline Files on that share so I could use those files at my house (did I mentioned I’m using a laptop).
- I have mapped a drive (I:) to this share.
When I’m offline, if I double-click an HTA file on de I: drive nothing happen. In the task manager I found an MSHTA.EXE running, but nothing seems to happen.
I discovered that if I use the UNC path (\\server\share) instead of the map drive (I:) to open the HTA everything works fine. I can’t explain it (yet), but it works.
